Buyer Protection
AuctionHub protects buyers by holding payment in escrow until you confirm you’ve received the item. This reduces the risk of paying for items that never arrive or don’t match the listing.
Escrow
When you win an auction or use Buy It Now, your payment is held by the platform. The seller doesn’t receive funds until you confirm receipt in your Dashboard. If there’s a problem, you can raise a dispute before confirming.
Bid holds and refunds
While you’re the high bidder, your bid amount is held in your wallet. If you’re outbid, the hold is released automatically. If the auction ends with no winner (e.g. reserve not met), all bidders are refunded.
Disputes
If the item doesn’t arrive, is significantly not as described, or is damaged, you can open a dispute. We’ll review the case and may refund you or release payment to the seller depending on the outcome. See our Refund Policy for details.
Your responsibilities
Confirm receipt only after you’ve actually received and inspected the item. Once you confirm, payment is released to the seller and refund options are limited. Always communicate with the seller and keep records of shipping and correspondence.
